Monday Morning (lack of) Madness
Intentionality
I think the biggest change we have all felt during the last 9 months of the quarantine is this overall sense of having to slow down.
Don't get me wrong, I generally like a face paced life. I like getting a lot done and moving around. But, with the current state of life - we all have to do things at a slower pace. Maybe that's okay. Maybe this will be the new "way" for a while.
My friend Suj recently posted a blog about mindfulness with food. The basic concept of taking more time with eating and thinking about the things we take in. It is pretty spot on.
I guess if you can, enjoy the calmer pace of this Monday. And take the time to savor your food instead of just treating as a fuel for fast pace.
